FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DOES THE FOXY PEDALER WORK?

  • Our party bikes, the Foxy Pedaler, is a 14-person, pedal powered bar on wheels with an electric motor assist. We’re currently operating 2 bikes in Green Bay & 1 bike in Sturgeon Bay. You book either: A GROUP TOUR or INDIVIDUAL SEATS ON A MIXER TOUR (see pricing). Each tour is 2 hours, in which you choose 2-3 stops inside the approved route area. We’re sorry but we can’t go outside of the approved route area. We provide a sober, energetic & experienced driver to make the most out of your Foxy Pedaler tour. The driver handles steering the bike & running the motor assist. They create an enjoyable & relaxed environment so that the group only has to worry about pedaling and having fun!

  • See “Is Alcohol Included In The Tour Cost” below for information on drinks for the tours.

  • If alcohol is present on the bike, everyone must be 21+, no exceptions. If you would like to book a tour with people who are 18-20 years old, please contact us directly for booking at 920-435-3699.

  • The seat heights are adjustable, however, you must be at least 5 feet tall to be able to reach the pedals. Don't worry if you're not - there is room for 3 riders on the bench seat!

HOW DO WE CHECK IN AT HOST BAR?

Check in individually or with your group at the host bar. Whoever booked your tour received a link to the E-Waivers that need to be signed by every rider before boarding the bike, preferably done before you arrive at the bar. Once you've signed the E-Waiver, the bar staff will give you a wristband. Purchase your drink order for the bike from the bar staff at this time. About 5-10 minutes before your tour start time, gather outside by the bike & be prepared to board.

When the bike arrives, possibly from a previous tour, allow all riders to exit & the driver to prepare the bike for your tour. The driver will let you know when to board the bike. Make sure you have everything you need for the whole tour before you depart. We won't return to the host bar until the end of the tour.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD THE DAY OF MY TOUR?

We ride in all weather; hot, cold, rainy, windy, etc. We provide umbrellas and ponchos for rainy weather. There is also a plastic bike wrap that covers all riders on the bike for COLD or RAINY weather. Bring along any other clothes/necessities to prepare yourself for the type of weather that might happen on your tour. Layers are key.

If the weather is too severe, the driver will make the call on moving the departure time back a bit or holding the tour group at a tour stop until it passes. If Foxy Pedaler staff cancels the tour before the tour starts, rain checks will be issued. We rarely if ever cancel a tour and will do everything to execute every tour and provide you with a safe and fun experience.

GENERAL QUESTIONS?

CAN WE PLAY OUR OWN MUSIC? // YES! We love when riders know what tunes they want and are ready to jam as we cruise along. The Foxy Pedaler bikes have a built in sound system that can connect via Bluetooth to your smart phone.

FOXY PEDALER SPEED? // Pedaling speeds : 2-10 mph. Motor assist speeds : 5-10 mph

CAN WE EAT ONBOARD? // You can bring snacks for the ride, individually or for the group. Keep in mind that snacks should be practical and able to be stored easily. Finger foods or snack packs are best. If you choose to get food along the route, it's a good idea to call ahead so that the food will be ready when you arrive and you can have plenty of time to eat on site. We don't want you spending a large part of your tour just waiting for food to arrive!

HOURS OF OPERATION? // Tours run between noon - 10:00 pm. The latest a tour can start is 8 pm so that it will be finished by 10:00 pm.

WHAT’S THE BEST FOOTWEAR? // The bikes are powered by the cycling of 10 riders. If you are going to be cycling, keep in mind that we’ll be moving steadily and pedaling during the tour, so sturdy athletic shoes are recommended. There is a bench seat for 3 riders, so if your plan is to take in the scenery from there, any type of footwear is fine.

FURTHER QUESTIONS? // Send an email to Tours@FoxyPedaler.com - we’d be happy to answer!

WAIVER & RULES

We want to provide a safe & fun experience for all of our riders. In order to ensure that we can do that, there are some rules that must be followed by all riders of the Foxy Pedaler bikes. Your driver will go over the rules with you before the tour and every rider will also need to sign an E-Waiver Form that goes over all of the rules.

Our bikes are equipped with 14 seat belts that are required to be worn at all times by riders. Helmets are available upon request, or you can bring your own. Of course, drinking too much can lead to riders making mistakes or bad choices while aboard the bike that may cause harm to them. Or a totally sober rider can get excited and make the wrong decision. Any choices made by the riders on the bikes, are the rider's responsibility.

Please be respectful of our business and the city of Green Bay & Sturgeon Bay while participating in a tour. The City of Green Bay & The City of Sturgeon Bay hold us to high standards to ensure the safety of the riders and that we are respectful of the residents of the neighborhoods we route through. If you violate the rules, or cause problems, you may be asked to leave and charged the "Rule Violation Fee".
